Happy Happy Cocktail Friday y’all!!! It’s amazing how the summer heat continues to singe us all alive her in the South, but luckily there are copious amounts of alcohol and air conditioning delicious cold drinks to give a helping hand in the fight against the heat.
I figured lemonade and ice tea are the quintessential Southern cold drinks in the summertime and it was about dang time to make one of them a little more fun. This recipe is so simple y’all, I feel silly even calling it that, and I didn’t take any step by step photos because again, sooo simple. I used a pre-made lemonade (Publix brand) and stuck it in the freezer for a couple of hours, checking on it every so often to make sure it didn’t freeze too much and explode haha.
Then, the best part throw in a few shots of your lemon liqueur and voila! cocktail time. This will be such a wonderful cocktail for you to make for yourself on these never ending hot summer days and a pre-celebratory drink for you moms sending your kids back to school soon 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
