<\/a>Luckily, I had double the amount of blackberries and an extra pie shell which was the perfect amount to make 2 separate pies, and thank goodness because this pie was gobbled up super duper fast. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/a>I would like to mention that I used frozen blackberries because I was having a heck of a time finding enough fresh ones, but next time I will either find enough fresh ones or really really dry them off if frozen because there was a little more moisture in the custard than I would have liked (but still delicious!). <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/a>Anyways, this custard is super awesome and I will definitely be trying other kinds of fruit in the future because, dang it, this is super yummy and so easy to throw together.
