We made it through the work week y’all! Happy Cocktail Friday!! I would say these little shots are a day late for St. Patrick’s Day, since they’re green and all, but there’s always time for a cocktail, imma right? So think of this as a post St. Paddy’s Day libation…or something like that.
Anyways, last cheat day I really wanted a cocktail. I had some pear juice lying around and thought it might go quite well with some vodka, which totally works (I initially put too much in, but remedied that the 2nd time I made it).
I did think it needed a little something extra, but didn’t want to add anything else super sweet or flavored and overpower it, because pear juice is pretty mild.
I ultimately decided on a whole vanilla bean, which I think added that extra oomph it needed, and because drinking out of cute shot glasses is way more fun to me, that’s what I did. Have a wonderful weekend y’all and again thanks so much for stopping by!
Pear juice…
vodka…
& vanilla bean (cut down the middle & scraped out)…
and enjoy!!!
- 1 1/4 Cup of Pear Juice.
- 1 1/2 Ounces of Vodka.
- 1 Vanilla Bean, Cut In Half.
- Decorative Sugar, For Rim (Optional).
- 5 Shot Glasses.
- If placing decorative sugar around the rims of your glasses, place honey on the rims and dip into your sugar, set aside.
- Mix all ingredients together except the vanilla bean.
- Cut your vanilla bean down the middle and scrape out into your glass and mix in, no worries if there are larger vanilla bean pieces that didn't quite mix into your drink.
- No worries if you don't have a vanilla bean, just substitute a tablespoon of vanilla extract into your drink.
- Feel free to add more Vodka, it tends to be a bit strong for my taste, but you might like more.
