Happy Happy Cocktail Friday friends!!! I can’t emphasize enough how darn happy I am we are tthhiiss close to the weekend. Honestly, there doesn’t seem to be any one particular reason, but a culmination of sitting in hours upon hours and hours, and hours, and hours of ATL traffic, dealing with crazy folks all week and a general lack of sleep has finally just taken its toll, y’all feel me?
I honestly have no idea how parents do it, I have no kids (except a giant fur baby) and I feel spent, and I know some of y’all have the same work load/commute/life shenanigans AND have kids, so props to y’all, this drink is for you. I would like to emphasize that I do not, nor have I ever believed alcohol to be the fixer of problems, but dang, sometimes the day/week/month/weird co-worker just calls for it 🙂
The Boozy Georgia Peach isn’t exactly a Southern classic since I literally threw it together my last cheat day, but it definitely should be, because holy moly this is delicious!! Just imagine an incredible fresh peach milkshake with that wonderful extra oomph from the Brandy and Vodka, and voila the making of an amazing dessert cocktail. Peaches into your blender…
Forgot to take a pic of the rest of the ingredients in the blender, my bad…but here it is all blended…
and enjoy!!!
- 5-8 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream.
- 2 Peaches, Sliced.
- 3 Ounces of Vanilla Cake Vodka or Vanilla Vodka.
- 4 Ounces of Brandy.
- Dash of Cinnamon (Optional).
- Blender.
- In your blender place your vanilla ice cream, sliced peaches, Vodka and Brandy and process until smooth.
- Pour into your glasses, top with an extra scoop of ice cream (optional) and a dash of cinnamon (also optional) and enjoy!!
- How much ice cream is totally up to you, I put about 5 scoops into the blender, then topped the glasses with another scoop.
