Happy Happy Thursday everybody, as well as an early cocktail Friday!!! Y’all I am extra excited to share this recipe today with you guys!
I love just about anything Halloween themed, and these little shots are so that, I mean, come on, orange and black sprinkled rims? Too cute! The title? well, I’ll just go ahead and take credit for that, well kind of, I was watching one of my favorite get in the Halloween mood movies Practical Magic and was inspired by their witchy ways hehe. Then, the best part, these little shots are delicious! These are definitely more tropical tasting the average Fall time drink, but who cares, they’re just so darn tasty.
These little shots are just enough sweet without being crazy sweet, they’re bubbly, cold and most definitely have a kick. Obviously you are welcome to turn down the kick by leaving out the rum and adding more pineapple juice, but I’m definitely liking them the way that they are. I hope you get to enjoy these little guys soon (or in a regular glass is just fine too), have a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend!!! Thank you so much for stopping by!
pineapple juice…
rum…
coconut extract…
food coloring (optional)…
then sprinkles on the shot glasses…
then the pineapple mixture into your glasses…
then enjoy!!!
- 1 Cup of Pineapple Juice.
- 1/4 Cup of Rum.
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Coconut Extract.
- 1 Bottle of Champagne, Chilled.
- 2 Drops of Red Food Coloring (Optional).
- 5 Drops of Orange Food Coloring (Optional)
- Orange and Black Sprinkles For Rim (Optional).
- Mix together the pineapple juice, rum, coconut extract and food coloring to reach the color you desire.
- If you want sprinkles around the rim of your shot glasses, place honey around the rim and dip into the sprinkles.
- Now pour 1-2 ounces of your pineapple juice mixture into the shot glasses and fill the rest with the champagne and enjoy!
- I ran out of yellow food coloring, hence why I didn't mix it with red to make a more orange color, and I didn't realize I had orange gel food coloring already which I used a majority of, then throwing in a bit of red to get the color I wanted.

I also throw the candy pumpkins in the same category of awesome because they are identical in flavor FYI hehe. Anyways, the wonderful folks over at
Obviously after opening the magical box of candy I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it, you know, other than just eating them all by myself. I’ve had this chex mix recipe running around in my head for a while now. I wanted crunchy, as well as sweet and salty, a little pumpkin spicy, and let’s not forget the star of the show, candy corn. Y’all this stuff was straight up crack, I was eating so much of it I am surprised that any made it to family and friends, I highly recommend you make this ASAP haha. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
then, melted butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice…
mix all together…
pop into the microwave for a bit then onto your mixture and mixed in…
then the candy corns…
mix again, let set up and enjoy!!!

I’m still trying to get that recipe from them, and y’all don’t even know how bad I want to share that here with you guys. Unfortunately, and obviously, that’s not what I’m making here today, but another delicious item that they have (I told you, everything there is delicious). Who would have thought that one of their little free appetizers could be so darn good that I would have immediately started trying to figure out how to make it myself?
Now, I’m not saying these are as good as their version, but I will say it’s pretty ding dang close. These nuts are just slightly spicy, sweet, a little bit savory and the rosemary coming off of these is intoxicating. This is a one bowl, quick and easy recipe and just perfect to have hanging around for a snack, even though there wasn’t much hanging around with these because I ate them all haha. I hope you’re having a wonderful week, have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!!!
coconut oil, rosemary, brown sugar, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, sea salt…
mix, mix, mix…
onto your pan…
bake, bake, bake and enjoy!!!

I mean, I’m not gonna lie, the A/C was super cranked up which did not keep all of the humidity out, and then the added heat of the oven, I was sweating y’all. On the bright side, butter and cream cheese come to room temperature in a third the time at these oh so summer temps, so I didn’t have to wait on that for my frosting.
Speaking of, this frosting, y’all… wowza, just imagine a perfectly fall spiced pumpkin mousse that is deliciously light and decadent, and that is this frosting. The cupcakes fluffed up perfectly, and honestly I can’t remember the last time that I made cupcakes that puffed up and stayed up so nicely after taking them out of the oven.
They’re
mix, mix, mix…
into your cupcake tins…
bake, bake, bake…
now for the frosting, cream cheese into your bowl…
mix, mix, mix, then add your butter…
mix, mix, mix…
pumpkin and spices…
mix, mix, mix…
then add your powdered sugar…
mix, mix, mix…
and enjoy!!!

That has not been happening…it’s like a permanent sore throat mixed with a semi sinus infection, ew. I’m honestly wondering if I’m genuinely allergic to work (or at least my office), I start to get better over the weekend, then come Monday, I’m back to feeling like garbage again, sigh. Anyways, y’all get the point, but on the
I was genuinely surprised by how good this hot wonderful drink tasted. Not overly sweet, not at all bitter, but just so soothing with the lemon, ginger, honey and let’s not forget the Jack Daniels haha. It could be a placebo effect, but I no joke felt so much better after having this lovely beverage, take that sore throat hehe. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday, and thank you so much for stopping by !!!
let steep for a bit…
add your honey, then Jack Daniels…
and enjoy!!!

Oh yes, before it was cool to be anti corn syrup, I had to be, and y’all know what? they put that stuff in everything, and not just in syrup form, but for reals, corn goes into everything. I mean, thank goodness that they have started to cut down on it because dang, never getting to eat anything (fun) that my friends & family were was such a bummer as a kid. Anyways, that was a bit of a tangent sorry, but thank goodness these days I’m not neeearrly as allergic as I used to be, which means I can eat it occasionally which makes it an extra treat.
If you’ve been hanging around my blog for a little while now, you might be a bit familiar with a few of my favs (aren’t they all though? haha) caramel, cinnamon, pumpkin etc., so obviously this recipe is near and dear to
pop your popcorn and place into your bowl… (do you spy a doggie nose too?)
corn syrup, butter, salt, sugar into your pan…
boil for 5 minutes…(y’all this is super hot, be careful)
pour all over your popcorn…
mix it all in, then into your pan…
bake, bake, bake…
and y’all enjoy!!!

First off, you really can’t beat desserts made in the crockpot, honestly if the thought of baking cakes/cupcakes/bread pudding in the oven is intimidating, I highly recommend getting a start with a crockpot.
Second, this is pumpkin (obvi) and me and pumpkin are BFF’s and last but not least this is bread pudding and again bread pudding is always a good idea, like always. Also, the amazingly decadent sauce I poured all over this stuff is totally optional but I really really recommend you make it because it totally puts this bread pudding over the edge.
This recipe couldn’t be any easier to make, and it baked up so easily and perfectly, let me tell you how incredible your kitchen is going to be smelling while this is baking up, yum!!! I hope you had a great weekend, have a wonderful start to your week and thank you so much for stopping by!!!
into your crockpot…
all of the ingredients into your bowl…
mix, mix, mix…
pour over your bread…
make sure the bread is all covered up…
bake, bake, bake…
now, for the sauce…
boiling…
and enjoy!!!

I am aware that the Halloween Oreos don’t taste any different than normal ones, but come on, they’re soo wonderfully Halloween with the orange filling and the cute little prints on the back, anyways, sorry, I get so excited about themed food hehe. Sooo, back to this awesome cocktail treat. This is another one that came together solely because I started throwing things together in a blender.
This shake turned out to be so delicious y’all, with all of the ice cream, Oreos and then the added bonus of the Godiva white chocolate liqueur, mmmmm. BTW, in case you were wondering it’s still really really hot here with no end in sight for summer, sooo I figure something deliciously cold and Halloween themed is perfect!!! Have a wonderful day, a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!
and enjoy!!!

I’m normally a very happy and positive person, but there are just some people who come along and put a quick stop to that, and folks, that has been happening since Monday. Literally visions of getting in my car, driving far far away and changing my name have genuinely crossed my mind at least 10 times, yes a little melodramatic but whatevs.
I guess all I can do is keep on praying for my continued sanity haha. Soo anyways, back to what you’re really here for..food, and lots of it. I don’t know about y’all, but soft pretzels in my mind are one of the most delectable savory treats in the world (a very grand statement, but I’m sticking to it).
I mean, come on, soft, buttery, chewy dough covered in sea salt? mmmmmm…Something so simple yet so awesome, and today I show you an easy way to enjoy them at home, and hello with an easy cheese dip! I really hope each and every one of you are having a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by !!!
cut into pieces so it’ll be easier to roll out…

then sliced up into bite sized pieces…
baking soda in your water…
once boiling, put your dough pieces in…
take out, place on your baking sheet, now time for the egg wash (1 egg & water) on…
then brushed onto your dough bites…
then sprinkle some salt on & bake, bake bake…now time for the cheese sauce, butter…
then flour…
whisked all together and thickened a bit…
now slowly stir in the milk…
cook this up a bit until thickened…
now pour the cheese in…
all mixed in and yum!
Enjoy!!!

I will also admit here today that I have been known to on many a cheat day, go through the drive-in at Sonic (yes I said drive-in, haha). I go to Sonic for one thing and one thing only, their cheese tots, nom, nom, and honestly I feel like such a hillbilly to even admit that, but oh well there it is for all to judge, haha.
Let’s be real though, sometimes I think some of us (definitely not me of course) just want to lounge around in yoga pants, glasses and our hair on top of our heads in a bun on the weekend and do nothing except enjoy food and fun, amaright? Well, luckily if you’re feeling a bit
These little guys baking up smelled absolutely delectable y’all, and no joke it was thrown together so quickly, the oven wasn’t even done pre-heating yet. These tots would make for a wonderful side dish or main dish, way too good to miss you guys 🙂 Have an awesome day and thank you so much for stopping by!!!
all mixed together…
frozen tots in…
all mixed in and into your skillet…
bake, bake, bake and enjoy…
