Happy Happy Tuesday everybody!!! Did y’all have a nice long weekend I hope? I know I did, I got a lot done but I also got a lot of some much much needed sleep. I was feeling super run down due to the last several weeks of just going full throttle every single day, so it was certainly nice to actually feel rested and not have my alarm go off at 3:15 am for a couple of days haha.
Speaking of feeling run down, it seems like everyone I have been around has been sick, like full on cold/sinus-y/flu-y garbage and y’all no one has time for that mess, including me. Sooo, thinking that maybe y’all either have been a bit under the weather yourselves or around what feels like only sick folk, I think some major vitamins and minerals are in order.
This smoothie is chock full of beta-carotene, vitamin C and is also nice and anti inflammatory. As far as smoothies go this one is darn tasty, not at all too sweet due to the amount of carrots in this, but it’s a really nice flavor. Obviously, you can totally up the sweet factor by throwing in some more mango, but I really enjoyed this smoothie as is. I hope you’re having a wonderful (and healthy) week so far and thank you so much for stopping by!!!
seriously, everything into your blender…
blend, blend, blend…
and enjoy!!!

- 1-1 1/2 Cups of Carrot Juice, Fresh If Possible.
- 1 Large Orange, Peeled & Seeds Removed.
- 1 Cup of Fresh Mango (I Used Frozen).
- 1 Cup of Ice.
- Dash of Turmeric (Optional).
- Blender.
- Place all of your ingredients into your blender, and blend until smooth.
- Enjoy and feel better 🙂
- I bought my carrot juice, with no sugar or anything added because I didn't have enough time to juice carrots, but please feel free to do just that.
- If you want this sweeter, feel free to put in more mango and/or oranges.

Obviously, since it wasn’t my cheat day I didn’t have any, but now I have an armful of candy just sitting around looking at me, waiting to be noshed in a couple of days (insert maniacal laughter here). The next day, there were visible looks of shame and sugar hangover on many many faces, mixed with mumblings of needing more vegetables in their life. I’m totally not judging even a little bit, just so y’all know, I would have been right there with them if I had given myself free reign, but per usual I sat there and ate my grilled chicken with asparagus while eyeing the candy and saying things like, ‘just you wait you naughty little chocolates’, #totallynotkidding.
Anyways, enough candy talk, it’s almost the weekend, AKA Friday Eve to all of you, and if you still want to enjoy a lovely libation this weekend but very much minus the guilt, that is what I’m bringing y’all today. As I have said many, many times in the past, Gin & Tonics are my drink, like always, and since they tend to be on the very low spectrum of calories as far as drinks go, I thought I might throw in some coconut water (for hydration obviously) to see what would happen and it totally came out great. This is a not a sweet drink by any means, just a super light and fresh cocktail that won’t leave you feeling like poo later. I hope all of you are having a fantastic day, have a wonderful long weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!!!
and enjoy y’all!!!

Luckily, today’s cocktail is aaaalll of those things, with a bonus of it being freaking delicious. This Kiss Me Quick Cocktail (OMG so cute right?) is a bit more work than most cocktails I post here, but I just couldn’t pass up making this lovely and beautiful raspberry sauce to go in it.
This delicious libation also includes pineapple juice (which IMO makes everything better) and Cake Vodka (also not too shabby haha). If you want to make this extra Valentine’s-ey then I highly recommend throwing in some cute heart sprinkles like I did for your Valentine. I think this is such a fun and fruity cocktail and I hope you get to make this too. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
then the raspberries…
after simmering for a while…
nice and strained (the fruit left over)…
back into your saucepan (minus the fruit leftovers) and cook for a bit longer…
raspberry sauce done…
now for the cocktail, raspberry sauce into your glasses…
then the pineapple juice and cake vodka…
and enjoy!!!

Sorry to those of y’all looking for something extra decadent and smothered in butter today, I just can’t, my body is mad at me, but I promise Thursday I will have something in the unhealthy/awesome vein. On the bright side, this smoothie is awesome y’all. Since I feel like my digestion was so off, I knew I wanted some ginger root and fresh mint in this, because both are aces in helping with that kind of stuff.
Also, the green tea has the wonderful kick of caffeine as well as tons of good stuff in it for you. Obviously the addition of the strawberries, banana and date add loads more vitamins and of course flavor. Can you tell I’m mildly enthusiastic about this smoothie? Anyways, if you’re feeling that holiday bloat in a big way like I am, then I can’t recommend enough to have this for a few breakfasts this week 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!!!
just pretend I put a pic of everything in the blender…and enjoy!!!

How silly of me to have almost forgotten how bad ATL traffic is, and considering some schools around here are still out, I’m just waiting for that gigantic influx of awful (I’m not saying kids are awful, I’m just saying everyone should home school to keep traffic down hehe).
Anyways, so to
Cranberry Ginger Ale…
and enjoy!!!

Well, I’m going to continue this tradition with these super fun Champagne Jell-O shots, and they’re not as quick to make as a typical cocktail, but worth every bit of effort y’all. I mean, how fun are these?
I think the sprinkles really put these over the edge of awesome, but be mindful because these are very strong (hello vodka!). I’m gonna make this short and sweet because I know y’all too have many things to get to before the end of this year 😉
I’m wishing you guys the happiest of New Years, an absolutely wonderful 2017 and thank you sooo much for stopping by!!! Happy New Year Y’all!!!
after heating, the gelatin is dissolved and the rest of the champagne and vodka is added…
and into your pan…
after chilling for a while, place on wax paper…
add sprinkles and enjoy!!!

So I’m not normally a fan of eggnog, like at all, but I had the fortune of trying this at a party a number of years ago, and I was blown away by how awesome it was and obviously had to have the recipe, so here you go.
I would never name this eggnog as the best if I didn’t think it totally was. This is so creamy and smooth with lots of flavor, and most definitely a nice kick to it. I hope you get to enjoy this cocktail soon, have a very Merry Christmas a Happy Chanukah, and thank you so much stopping by!!!
yummy!!!

…When you have a name so synonymous with Christmas (my hat off to the Noels out there BTW), one that rhymes so nicely with stuff, and one that may or may not have gotten me nicknamed Jolly, By-Golly (wish I was making that up), and Polly (with a Parrot squawk thrown in for good measure) for years in school, naming this cocktail Holly Jolly is a big deal #firstwordproblems haha.
Anyways, I thought I would just throw it all out there (my lameness that is) and give this cocktail the dorkiest name ever. Fortunately, it maybe a dorky name, but hot dang this is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever made. This cocktail is super duper bubbly, sweet without being grossly sweet but just sooo much flavor.
You honestly will not be able to have just one of these delightful libations I can almost promise you, and it’s so festive you just might want to have one at hand while you wrap presents wink wink. I hope you have a fantastic day and thank you so much for stopping by!
Rosé Champagne…
Cranberry Ginger Ale…
and enjoy!!!
yum!!!

I genuinely don’t mean to put it off, it’s more that I just lose track of time. You know, you’re getting ready for Thanksgiving and planning your travel, then boom, you look up and you realize that you should already be done shopping and you’re left standing there going ‘what the heck?’
Please excuse my ramble, I’m slightly over caffeinated and lacking in sleep haha. Anyways, moving on…not gonna lie, I am loving all of these Christmas recipes because I get to sit around and think them all up, AKA drool over all of them hehe.
Gosh, I wish I had thought up this cocktail, because it is so dang cute, clever and obviously waaay delicious, and I saw several different versions of it, so I just tweaked it to my liking and it’s awesome. I don’t know about y’all but I love a good cold winter time cocktail, I don’t know why exactly, but sometimes it’s just a really nice change from all of the warm, cinnamon-esque drinks (which I still love, but you know). Anyways, I hope you get to enjoy this wonderful cocktail soon and thank you so much for stopping by!!!
lime sherbet into each glass…
then sprite…
then vanilla vodka…
and enjoy!!!

I woke up Tuesday morning totally psyched it was already Thursday–womp, womp, womp, isn’t that such a bummer when that happens? haha oh well… anyways, to the good stuff and the reason you’re here. Apple Cider is one of those things that I literally never think about any time of the year except when Fall finally makes its appearance, and then I want it all the time.
Obviously, once it’s available I want to make every cocktail (ok, not every cocktail) with it, but y’all know what I’m saying. Hence, these mimosas, and you guys, these mimosas, omg they are so wonderful. Perfectly sweet (but not too sweet) because of the apple cider, and bubbly with a hint of tartness from the champagne.
Oh, and I totally added a cinnamon/sugar rim around the glasses which was basically the cherry on top. I really hope you get to enjoy this soon and thank you so much for stopping by!!! Have a wonderful weekend!
Fill the rest of the glass(es) with champagne (which I forgot to take a pic of) and enjoy!!!
